Amelia "Lia" Artem came from a family of hunters and was raised to fight against the evils of the supernatural world.  Growing up in New Orleans was a struggle for her,  coming from a family who's known for being the best hunters in the world was difficult for her and getting her parents killed by vampires didn't help.  The only people who  survived the horrible event where her and her older brother, who are managing living in New Orleans... what they never expected was to have the original family of vampires and take over New Orleans. Where they had made a promise to their parents that they will protect their city no matter what...
