This is my own take on the timeline set in Modern Warfare 3 and flash backs to Modern Warfare 2. I do own Girls Frontline and I do suggest you get it.

Scarcity
By 2057, Earth will be a shadow of its former self. Decades of unbridled consumption and climate negligence have left the earth almost desolate.
