Eddie and Richie do not know each other.
Set in 2017
The Losers are all 17 while Eddie is 16.
Georgie is not dead.
Eddie is considered the 'Ghost dude'. His mother does not allow him outside at all. Eddie is homeschooled and almost no one in Derry has ever seen him before. Eddie has met no one his age except his cousin, Ella.
Richie is friends with the Losers (everyone except Eddie). His parents, especially his father, hates him because of his sexuality. His mom is never home due to not wanting to see her own son, his dad abuses him constantly. It is not uncommon for Richie to be sporting a black eye.
-Someone tries to break into Eddie's house. Sonia is not at home and Eddie is naturally terrified. He runs out of his house to find someone to help. That person is Richie. Richie spends the night with Eddie to keep him safe. Richie and Eddie become friends. This is a Reddie story.
