Y/n was always the girl who sat in the backgrounds, watching the lives of the popular kids all around her. Never noticed, never wanted to be noticed. Until one day when her eyes catch another outcast like her- but this time, the outcast tried to speak out. He was "the kind of kid who would eat sand just because nobody dared to".
Joel was always know as the "music geek". And he didn't care. He didn't care that people thought he was the weirdo. He had his guitar and his voice to glide him through freshman year. And the rest of his life. He didn't care until they thought it would be funny to break his guitar.
