Beating as One

After a defeat in court against Prosecutor Gavin, Apollo finds himself drained of energy... and the desire for blood.

It is common in the Vampire world for vampires to have a special someone. A soulmate, if you will, and can be recognised based on their heartbeat as theirs will beat in time together. Soulmates are connected from birth but not necessarily destined to meet one another, and the majority of the Vampire world grow up almost never meeting their "other half".

As a vampire himself, Apollo is extremely fortunate to have found his soulmate. But when deprived of a vampire's most basic nourishment, and harbouring a deep hunger for one person's blood, how long will it be before he cracks?
