But then, they begin to grow to each other. Like God send them on purpose. Slowly, their life's struggle begins to catch up to them. But as friends would they help each other? Or slowly falling apart?

That even if your friend is always smiling, always making you laugh. You don't know what demons their fighting in the dark. I think we normalize being toxic like it's something to be proud of when you are hurting people who genuinely love and care about you.
