Livvie Conner was in the business. Murder business, that is. Had been since she was 15, taking her victims' vocal cords for a souvenir of sorts.

But when an unexpected turn of events occurs, Livvie is forced to pick her head up and look at the world, those present and the ones in between, and take action.

And when things start to spiral out of control for Livvie, she's forced to do something she never had done before; ask people for help. Lean on people for support. Rely on people. And in the midst of all this craziness, she's surprised to find people who are willing to help. Who are willing to support her.

The real question is, will she let them help her, or will she get close only to push them away?
