Mekare Miralles, not only the most awkward and unlucky teen out there, has managed to land herself in her aunt's for the last semester of her school year and summer. It seems like trouble only follows for this teen, until she meets her cousins who not only hate her guts but something weary is happening in the town of Bay county, that Mekare fears.
Not only does she have to end up running and apologizing for every trouble and mistakes she is doing, and trying not to fall in love with her cousin's next door neighbour and crush, who seems to have a liking towards her. But she is also stopping from something big happening in the school of doom. Mekare has a lot on her plate when her twin comes to play and then the shadows appear. It seems like the boy Mekare fell in love with wants her back only for a price, after setting them free they are on a hunt for the world. Mekare does everything in her power to stop this, only she too has a secret of her own that her family don't know. Not only is her family line from a witch and soothsayer lineage but she too has one of the most troubling gifts of all, and it seems like there is no rest for Mekare until these shadows are gone forever only is she able to survive this alone?
