When eighteen-year-old Melissa Valentine moves into a deserted house in the North Carolina mountains, she expects creaky floors, dusty rooms, and maybe a few spiders.
What she doesn't expect is a microwave that turns itself on... chores that finish themselves... and a radio that seems to know exactly when she needs background music.
At first, the strange happenings are a little creepy.
Then they become... convenient.
Melissa starts to suspect she might not be living alone. But if there is a ghost in the house, it seems less interested in haunting her and more interested in helping her clean.
However, not everything lurking in the mountains is friendly-and the mysterious spirit watching over Melissa might be the only thing standing between her and something far more dangerous.
