Here's a secret: Everyone, doesn't matter if he or she is family or a friend or a stranger, will hurt you. It does not matter they love you or if it was unintentional, because if it is the case then the hurt would be deep and leave you with scars. This is a hard, simple truth; one that I learnt late and in a most brutal way.
I was born in luxury and led privileged life. or so does people think. My life was far from normal and safety. Unwanted, born from pain and suffering, I paid for the sins of the men who were supposed to love and cherish me. I understood torture long before I could understand the meaning of love. This is my story of torture, tolerance and triumph.
Note : Some parts of the story is inspired from one of my favorite series "Bound by blood series" by Cora Reilly. Some parts are inspired by the Chris Evans movie - Gifted. You can call my story a crossover fanfiction of the same.
Warning : This story is dark tale of girl born in cruel world. The book includes all kinds of abuses - physical, sexual and mental / emotional. There are lot of horrific things such as torture, rape etc. If you are sensitive to such things or are underage as per the legal guidelines of your country for mature books, please do not read it.
Disclaimer 1 : I neither support nor wish to promote any kind of horrible behavior and abuse that is mentioned in the book. I want to be firmly clear that I don't romanticize abusive behavior. On the contrary, I abhor it and the same is represented through the eyes of my heroine who crave for a loving and safety enviornment that all humans deserve, especially an innocent child.

There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him. The A Team: A Novella
I lost someone dear to me in the midst of the Heroin Epidemic hitting MA in the last 3 years that spurred me to write The A Team. It is a reference to Ed Sheeran's song. This story was my grieving process. Without it, I'd be in a maelstrom of emotions that I wouldn't know what to do with. Also, my favorite band, Fall Out Boy, has a physical copy of this story. I gave it to them this past summer at a Meet & Greet in Mansfield, MA for the Boys of Zummer tour. I'd probably bawl my eyes out if I ever hear that they read it, but I don't want to hold out too much hope.
