This is a short story which is based on the story of "Lacittá di Smeraldo" or the legend of the Smeraldo flower.

Smeraldo flower is a beautiful flower which is very valuable. Today, this flower does not exist and many people only recognize it as a part of myth or legend.

This story happened in 1500s - 1600s in a small town in Italy where a man with a great love for flowers and a woman who sells beautiful flowers lives.
