She walks the runway, goes to exclusive nightclubs, attends galas, exclusive masquerade parties, and dines at Michelin Star Restaurants. Between meeting the notorious womanizer Nathaniel Van Doren and the cunning Vivian Blackthorn, Angel is confronted with a myriad of distractions. 

However, Angel is thrown back into reality as it becomes apparent that she's not the only one with a mission. There are evil forces at large that will stop at nothing to attain what they want. Angel realizes that she's the player of a centuries old, ruthless, unfinished game, and that she is not who she always believed she was. She has ancient, unimaginable, power that would even stun the Archangels. This is a classic tale of good versus evil with a divine twist, heavily inspired by the old and new testament. 

And of course, what good would this story be if it didn't have tantalizing romances that are forbidden by all means?

Soon, only the Scions will remain. Those that were left not due to merit, but because they were the last choice for being heroes. Those whose memories and minds are as damaged and eaten through as their world. Those who agreed to take on the mysterious Archons within their bodies and, through that contract, had ancient relics and rituals passed down to them.
