In a world with quirks and everyone has two names, Dream lives with his abusive Mum. However, because he was home schooled for half his life he never realized that being beaten and starved everyday was not normal. He grew up as a slave to his mother, doing everything she says and being beaten if he didn't do it to perfection. But after some incidents, his friends start  to worry about him...
Please do read the first chapter. It will describe anything that may confuse you, and will explain the quirks and naming concept.
