"Why am I doing the rehabilitation?! Well, I mean, I wanted to get back on my feet again", Aoi said with a smile on her face. "It just looked painful. I ask the doctor and she said your bones are not aligned and it'll cause a lot of soreness", Miu informed. "You went asking for my welfare. I am touched", Aoi clasped her hands together. The lady massaged her leg and looked at the sky. She heard from Aruka that Nao moved to Miyagi and that she wasn't attending practices. Knowing Nao, she would hesitate to hit someone else's tosses.
"It will be tough when you can't walk anymore", Miu nodded. "That's one but I refuse to stay on the ground, Miu. I will walk again then I will run. Next time, I will be able to jump. I don't mind learning them again and again. Someone is waiting for me", Aoi placed her arms around Miu. The warmth made Miu feel nostalgic. For just a second, flashes of memory appeared in her mind. She felt all kinds of emotions. Loneliness. Regret. Pain. Anger. Fear. Disgust.
"That's why you have to start learning how to stand again, Miu. I'll be here. We're stuck in the same place. Slowly, gently, let's start walking again. Forward", Aoi's word made Miu's eyes warm.
Then soon, she started feeling warm, hopeful, thankful, and fortunate.
