Makoto Kurobane, a well-meaning demon prone to his whims, helps a tourist find his lost possession. At least, that's what he thinks he's doing, until he realizes that the 'tourist' is a dimension-hopping alien on a quest to track down a god and the 'lost possession' is merely one of a line of clues stretching billions of years into the past.

It could be intrigue that leads him to accompany the alien across worlds and through the stars, or maybe a desire for adventure, but it probably has more to do with the alien-- O'orou Tkskyevei-- being perfect sugar daddy material.

He's considered cold due to his refusal of keeping people closer than an arm's length, but after a blue-haired man argues his way into his life, his arm's length shortens slowly as he unravels more about the man, including seeing a side of his that no one was ever meant to see. - A stereotypical romantic trope.
