Lucy Heartfilia is 17. She's new at school, but very popular. Not in a good way. She was previously married to a man for 7 years, sting Eucliffe. Her parents sold her to him, and he got to do whatever he wanted with her. He raped her when she was 13, while he was 15, and died of a heart disease when he turned 19 and he left her all of his money. He didn't care about her, but he didn't want his brother to have the money because if he did he would throw out his own mother, the mistress who ruined the relationship with his mom and father. Now Lucy is all alone and traumatized, but she'll do anything to get rid of the pain, although everything is a temporary solution.

Natsu Dragneel is the popular bad boy player of Fairy Tail high. He skips a lot and also gets into a lot of fights as well. He lives by himself in a apartment of a building that his parents owned, but they died while his mom was pregnant with his you in her sister Wendy. He gets motion sickness, when they wanted to drive to igneels sisters house, they got into a car accident and they died. He's lived alone ever since. He comes to parties sometimes and ends up hooking up with any girl he is interested in. He just uses them and tossed them to the side when he's bored with them and goes after another one. They always fall for it, they know it's gonna happen but still date him.

When Lucy meets Natsu it's a surprising ordeal, because she had a huge argument with him.
