Life seems so happy for seventeen-year-old Wren. The most popular friends, perfect parents, and all the boy's attention. But things aren't always as they seem, she was nine when her best friend Jack just mysteriously disappeared. After that she could never truly feel, how some may say... 'complete'. She misses her best friend more and more every day; the heartache grows and becomes unbearable. But when everyone starts talking of a organ stealing and eating creature everyone calls Eyeless Jack, Wren feels somewhat drawn to the rumours. Yet as she learns more the memories of Jack are back stronger than ever, and there is NO escape from the past. Eyeless Jack is COMPLETELY real. A monster of what was once a human boy. Now he travels around the nearby cities, cutting out and then eating the organs of other humans. He's always lonely but wants no friendships after what he's done in his childhood. He also has good memories though; old friendships, no human organs in his stomach, that sort of thing... But he sees a beautiful young woman one day, she's almost... familiar. He wants to kill her. But will his haunted memories change his mind? *Wren and everyone else other than the Creepypastas are my own characters.* So please enjoy! *FIRST BOOK IN THE Dear My Sanity SERIES* "Look at your hands. Their blood is on your hands." Jamie stares at her blood covered hands. She clenches her jaw, a muffled scream coming from her. I let her scream but I look around, knowing the police would come soon. If she wants to avoid being caught, she needs to get over her little crisis already. "Get up," I say quickly, going over and grabbing onto her arm to pull her up. "Come on, the police will be coming soon. You're not going to jail." She struggles against me, screaming, "No! You're going to kill me if I go with you." "This all can be erased," I insisted. The wailing of sirens tells me I need to convince her quickly. Jamie pauses, thinking hard. "Fine," she says. "Let's go then." I say no more as I run. She picks up my pace and follows me as I lead her away from her first murders and into her new life. I think it's one she'll fit well into.Complete
