Rosee (rose) is a rouge immortal, and she has been ever since she turned sixteen in Byzantine Egypt, in 509 and has been running from the Immortal Council, since the year 520, when she burned down the Coucil building in Constantinople. Anymore, running to places seems to come up short in the 'great hiding places' category. After being caught in Lithuania, she flies to New York and eventually to Washington. Having never lived in a small town since she fled her sea port town on the Byzantine Egypt Mediterranean coast in 512. But Washington holds more than just a small town, it also holds her past, future and present. Why? Because Aaron has showed up. Having not seen him in almost 200 hundred years, not too long after Micelei's death, he's now where she is. The worst part is, that Aaron may recognize her, or not. She can't tell. He gives no hint of remembering who she is. Will she be able to break the barrier on his mind, and bring him back to her? Or will the Council come for her, not letting her get back to the man she loves? Only time will tell, with this tale.
