Castiel looked over at the man beside him, he looked strangely familiar. Castiel just looked at him, taking in all of his features, his strong jaw, muscular arms hidden under a plaid shirt, soft looking dirty-blonde hair, his freckles on his nose and under his eyes; then it hit him, He was the guy from the party. He sure was beautiful… for a guy, Castiel reminded himself.

“Hey, weren’t you at the party?” The man inquired.

“uhh yeah”

“Oh man you were the guy I knocked over… Sorry about that”

“Oh no, it was my fault, it’s completely fine”

“I’m Dean Winchester by the way” He held out his hand for Castiel to shake.

“Castiel Novak” He took Dean’s hand and shook it firmly.

Ellen passed Dean his beer and refilled Castiel’s whisky.

“Round of pool?” Dean asked

Dean could still hear it, even now that they had been back for a few weeks. He could see the horror on Cas' face, the panic. He could hear the pain in his voice, recalled how it had twisted and turned in the depths of his eyes and contorted his features. He could still feel his own body go numb with hurt and shame, only to come alive with pain and dread once Cas told him about it. He hadn't been able to say it. He'd finally been ready to say it. Finally Castiel decided he should get up and get dressed and tries to think about what it could have been he recognized about the boy in his dream. His voice? no we didn't even talk, but Castiel did remember his laugh, it sounded like he was an angel. But once Castiel looks up he realizes, his eyes! His eyes were a bright green, the most beautiful green Castiel had ever seen. Castiel gets dressed in his usual outfit, dark pants with a white button up and a blue tie.
