Shadow meets a person from the past. He makes a blood pack with the person. The deal is that Shadow never will feel pain again, but what Shadow don't know is that he will lose his memory again. Shadow is meeting unknowing people or did he knew them?
The person there took Shadow's memory and pain, didn't really care about Shadow. He knew someone would help Shadow.
