Mia is a thirty-six year old divorced sports journalist who moves out into the countryside to start her new, less complicated life.
She soon makes friends with the neighbours, particularly Elle who seems to be having her own marital problems with Jacob and looks to Mia for comfort.
The two seem to be good friends until Mia starts falling for Elle's husband Jacob and struggles to separate her loyalties from her temptations.
But what if Mia falling for Jacob was all the start of something bigger?
