Robert's story starts from where his wife, the love of his life or so he thought, left him for another person, another woman completely out of the blue and leaving him wondering where he went wrong, what he did wrong with her.Would he ever try to love like that or die with misery in the end

Caroline's story starts from where she has a decision to make. The decision her abusive uncle and stepfather left for her after her mother bravely ended her life to end his. The decision to marry a man of his listed choice or lose the
family wealth and possibly her kid brother to the foster care system.
Would she dare to cut the hold her uncle has even beyond the grave and lose everything or sacrifice her chance to finding what love really is at the end.

The important question though is how the broken Robert and the chained Caroline are tied together?
