" I could feel her power, pulsating under her skin, a bright pixie green swirling and dancing inside her, calling out to me. I tried to resist, but I couldn't help it... I had to have it."

All of Harriet's life, all she's known is the teen orphanage, and her best (and only) friend, Ben. But deep down, she's always known that she was different. When she receives a letter inviting her to Broughford Academy, she sees it as an opportunity for a new life, but leaving Ben behind was something she wished she didn't have to do

What she doesn't know, is that Broughford Academy is actually a school for the gifted, and Harriet can finally learn how to use her abilities. But when Harriet's power is more than she expected, something evens he can't control, how will she handle her inner monster, the voices in her head, or the strange boy that looks a little too similar to Ben?
