The Melody of Julien

In the midst of the poised yet unforgiving world of 19th century western Europe, Mya, a black female violinist of a musical duo, 'Capello E Di Costa', fights to prove herself beyond the prejudices of the insatiable, conspicuously consuming upper class. An encounter with a enigmatic journalist is all it takes to cast Mya into the world of the strained high society. While battling her own inner voices regarding her place and purpose, expectations of fame begin to impede on the most delicate parts of her life and Mya wonders what will ever become of her and that fated writer.
