When Elliot Baker walked in his favourite café, he never expected to find an abandoned laptop on the table he usually sat at. Except the laptop is there the next day and the next one too, no owner to be seen.
Curiosity gets the best of him, and he soon finds that inside the latpop, neatly arranged in a folder, sit the whole lives of the people living in his small hometown.

The world plunged into everlasting darkness, entrenched in chaos and disorder, where hope is a distant flitting memory. The story I propose to my fellow readers follows Anthony Verdun, who was only a boy when all he knew was taken from him in an instant. Like many others, on that day, those who survived lost a part of themselves, forever scarred by the family, friends, and loved ones they lost. Their lives changed forever; how could it not?
