After her final showdown with Von Reichter, CyberSix takes up unfinished business in cleaning up some of the mad doctor's loose experiments. Even his Fixed Ideas prove more durable than even he thought. And with CyberSix's need for the Sustenance, she can't possibly risk letting those artificial brutes run amok. In her search, she finds that many of them are festering within a neighboring city: Gotham. It's here that she finds that she's not the only night-time vigilante in the world and that the beginning Von Reichter told her of may have just been another one of his lies. That she may have had a normal beginning before Von Reichter came and stole it from her.
