((This book was based off of 'The Hunger Games', and involves the Sander Sides. I do not own all of the characters involved for the overall setting. And thank you to @NicksIGuess for the amazing cover!))
A new year, a new set of people, but the same game.
In a world where magic exists, The Hunger Games can be risky. That's why they've sought out to kill all magic users that were not raised in the Capitol. However, twenty six people were chosen for the hundredth Hunger Games- a quarter quell. Two from each district, and two from the Capitol. For this quarter quell, it doesn't matter what gender the players are. They've also decided to throw in a few magic users, as their punishment for... existing? Well, when eight players are forced to team up to even have a chance a surviving, who knows what could happen?
Twenty four players, only one winner.

There's only one person who can stop the threat before it's too late - the subject of the prophecy. Unfortunately for Alyssa, no one knows how to stop the threat or what exactly it is. Despite the fact everyone seems to thing the savior is Alyssa, no one knows for sure, and one false attempt will destroy everything Aptitude Academy has ever known. What if district 13 didn't get blown up? And what if there was a 14th district hidden from everyone? District 14 wasn't known to the public, it was kept hidden due to the lack of people. They were told that as soon as their population increased than they would be entered into the Hunger Games. Only they didn't know it would be this soon. Peacekeepers stormed the mediocre town of District 14 where they announced that only one person every year, between the ages of 12 to 18, was to be entered into the Hunger Games. When Marlowe Ordell hears the announcement she fears for the life of her 12 year old brother. There was a 1 in 400 chance that he gets called and he'd be all alone. She never once thought about her own life until she was the one to be called. She runs into a Career Tribute who takes an interest to her.
