Jack, Miko, and Raf do a good job of keeping the Bots' secret to themselves. They rarely talked about the Bots in public, and when they did they used nicknames and code words. To everyone else they seem like three friends talking about inside jokes and experiences.
But someone new moves into town, someone who has experience dealing with the unusual.
Just how much do the three teens stand out, to someone who knows what to look for?

Everyone has secrets. Some secrets are innocent - something that wouldn't harm anyone or anything. Some secrets, however, are vicious - something that will destroy even the strongest of bonds. When secrets that have been kept hidden for too long start to rise to the surface, all hell breaks loose. Jackson Darby, Miko Nakadai, and Rafael Esquivel find themselves becoming the centerpieces of a war they should have never been a part of in the first place. In a mess of distrust, confusion, fear, suspicion, and chaos, the trio of humans learn a valuable lesson: The Autobots are not as good as they thought. The Decepticons are not as bad as they were told. Unlikely bonds are forged as Jack, Miko, and Raf try to make sense of the mess they created, while other bonds are challenged. It all started with a collapsed mine.

A day comes when two of the autobots, Bulkhead and Wheeljack, gets into deep trouble and almost dies. That's when Erin comes in, using her key to save them and preventing more losses and more grief amongst the autobots. When she uses her key, however, it unlocks a door, allowing a foe to enter their world. This foe, however, is not their usual common enemy. This foe has history going deep and deep, all the way back to the Primes. They are here to wreck chaos upon the world. To use humanity as slavery. And to accomplish that, they would require power greater than mere technology. Where will they obtain this power? Who will they obtain it from? Who is this foe? Will Cybertron finally be saved? Alias is an unusual girl. She doesn't remember who she was when she was younger, her first memory was as a 6 year old, stumbling through the woods into an old abandoned barn, wounded and weak. This is where she meets the equally confused Cybertronian, who she named Nickname. As they grow up and learn about the world around them, they realize that the world is a horrible place. And while Nickname has the Decepticons chasing him, Alias has a group of human sized metal warriors that seem endless and relentless chasing her. (Later revealed by Ratchet as power hunters from early Cybertron.) Oh, and did she mention her metal wings? No, oh well... Once they meet the Autobots though, they seem to have found their peace, until they decide to help the Autobots of course. I mean, after Alias tries to kill them. Megatron isn't a very nice fellow per usual, and he had already stumbled upon the bounty hunters chasing Alias and claimed himself their lord and master.Complete

And for years, Kat's life as a ninja progressed and Miko made friends, not all of which were human. Every month, Kat would personally visit Miko, but soon enough, the beans would be spilled on both their activities. Kat was determined to protect Miko and once she found out that her enemies had tracked her to Nevada and tried to kidnap Miko, Jack, and Raf...
