Wings of Fire: Aspen
This is the story that follows a Leafwing named Aspen as he faces the consequences and struggles that come when he gets mixed up in something he never asked for. This story was less of a 'do it as good as you can' kind of story and more of a story I wrote so I could have something that was finished, as I've struggled in finishing stories in the past, so if there's some error, sorry! Also, some parts of the story may raise questions that are never answered, such as "who is Lady Dusk?" because this story is also connected to an ongoing roleplay and was written for the members OF that roleplay. Girl who Speaks to Birds
I never expected this to happen. But it did. Who knew that rescuing a broken winged canary would lead to me being able to transform? It would seem like a blessing to most, and in a way, it is. Except for the fact that I'm kinda, sorta... On the run. Sometimes, people refer to me as the girl who speaks to birds. Wings of Fire: Lemming's Story
NOTE: The following is a fanfiction inspired by Tui T Sutherland's "Wings of Fire" saga. "Wings of Fire" does not belong to me, and much of the material included in this story is fanon, not canon, though several canon characters will be making appearances throughout the story. Taking place during the events of "Book 1: The Dragonet Prophesy" and the War of SandWing Succession, this is the story of Lemming. Lemming is a young IceWing of middle class rank, who has been a loyal soldier on Blaze's side in the war for a couple years. She's small for an IceWing of her age, but has been able to use this to her advantage to become a successful soldier and survive in the war. However, after a battle takes a turn for the worse, Lemming is left as one of the few survivors and imprisoned in the SkyWing arena. This new world is more brutal than the battles she'd fought in the war, and the SkyWings don't kill for necessity -they kill for entertainment. Can Lemming survive in this new kill or be killed world, or will she be just another body to be swept from the arena sand? NOTE 2: Some of the wording and phrasing of Pt4 comes straight from "The Dragonet Prophesy". That wording was created by Tui T. Sutherland, not me, though I am using it for descriptive purposes in those specific scenes, which first appeared in "The Dragonet Prophesy". All chapter cover artwork made and designed by me. Lyra Jay Kellie has just had the second worst day of her entire life. It's right up there at the top of the list, just under her mothers death day. Her plane fell out of the sky in the middle of a storm and landed in the remote wilderness of the Montana Rockies. Her pilot is dead. Her satellite phone is worthless and she has no idea where she is. Lyra is utterly lost and alone. Good thing she's been taught a thing or two about how to survive from her world traveling partner and father. Then there's Nathan Wesley, a hunter and farmer, who later has the ultimately worst plane ride of his entire existence. Crashing just a mile or so from Lyra's camp site, he's rendered unconscious and cannot escape the flaming plane. Lyra sees the smoke and fire and hopes she can get to the plane in time. When Nathan wakes up, he decides to pay back this wild girl for saving his life by doing anything he can to help her get home. Even if that means risking his life for her. Can the pair survive the harsh Rocky Mountain wilderness and make it to civilization?
