When tragedy strikes the heart it can't help but shatter into a million splintering shards. Despite the strongest of efforts the pieces may never be put back together exactly as it once was.

In the case of the Eastern Coven the shards of their once proud family may never find themselves together again when tragedy strikes the island. In many cases the shards are swept under the rug and ignored wholly, that is until necessity draws them together again.
