From Life to Death

Alone in a run down cabin, Leon Scott Kennedy was found by a detective named Kaye Leanne Jennings, gravely wounded. Kaye had brought Leon back to her home in this apocalyptic world. As she stitches his wound up, she can't help but fall for this blue eyed man. He was gentle with her, both sharing nearly the same pain, but when she tells him what happened to her after showing him a scar on her stomach, Leon's heart drops and promises to not hurt her like that.

After one night, a child is conceived during the apocalypse, both Leon and Kaye scared for not only the safety of the infant, but also sanity. Within three months into her pregnancy, the apocalypse ended. Leon joined the police force and help restore the city to its natural state. Within that time, Kaye had went into labor and there was not a hospital yet so they had to do a home birth. Both parents so happy when their little boy was born.

Years after, they had another child, Kaye returned to her work as a detective, their daughter joining her and their son following Leon's path. But it all changed on one gloom dark day.
