Northsiders were taught early that the Southsiders were nothing more then scum on this earth. The kids on that side of the town were petty thieves, bullies, drug dealers and junkies. Some were even a part of a gang, whether it was the Ghoulies or the Southside Serpents. Harley Byers believed it to a certain extent, seeing as her best friend Jughead Jones were from that side of town. But when the Jones kid got more invovled in his family responsibilities, Harley followed close behind, bumping into snakes left and right as she tried supporting him.

Betty didn't expect Jughead Jones to take such an interest in a girl as mundane as her and as much as she tries to avoid him he seems to be everywhere she is. When a life changing event happens she finds herself thrown right into the middle of his world she finds him much harder to avoid and to deny her attraction to the original bad boy of Riverdale. Jughead Jones is instantly attracted to the little preppy blonde girl as soon as he meets her with her attitude and fearlessness, he couldn't help but to be intrigued. Toni tries her best to protect herself until the new guy intervenes and knuckles Chuck in the throat. Toni slides behind the Cobra King and Reggie looks over the situation and runs off. Chuck tries to grab Toni one more time only to be put through a judo throw and put into a kimura lock. Within a few seconds the new kid named Daniel Boyce gets his point across that nobody messes with his fellow Serpents especially Toni. While visiting her Grandpa Thomas Topaz, she finds Daniel talking with him and reminiscing of his visits with Daniel's family whenever he rod through town. And at her grandpa's behest. Toni goes out on a date with Daniel and finds that Daniel is more than what he appears to be. Will they become more than friends or will they just relegate their relationship to Friends With Benefits?
