Rafael helped a starving old man in the streets and in return for his kindness, he was given a book. The old man told him that the book will give him a different perspective to enjoy life. When he had the time to read it, he was surprised that it is blank but only the title- Somnium et Adventum.

That night, he had a dream of being in a field of yellow flowers and saw a girl who told him that his adventure will begin. The next day, he tried to find the old man to ask him about the book but the old man was nowhere to be found anymore.

Since then, he started to dream being in different dreams with the people he was closed to, other people he knew and people he met along the way. He tried to look for the reason of his dreaming but he always ends up on the book as his dreams started when he met the old man.

While continuously having those dreams, he realized he is actually having fun and at the same time, he learns more about the people he had a shared dream with. He then decided to write a story about the dreams he is having in the blank pages of the book.

He told the truth about his dreaming to the girl he met that got interest with it and after some time, to his friends. They believed him and together, they shared the same dreams and had much fun until an event came that changed everything the way he lives his life.

The Dark Deception - The Return of Waeccende by gregorymohammed

Greg suffered terrible nightmares recently. He would wake in a sweat, breathing hard, and with no memory of the content of the dream. Confiding in his friends, they agreed to look over him as he slept to wake him at the height of the nightmare. Implementing this one evening, they discover the contents of the dream. That same night they retire ... Upon waking, they discover themselves in a strange land, and are quickly entwined in an adventure, which begins innocently enough, but slowly turns horrific and challenges their resolve and purpose. At first their path looks clear and simple. However, as they split into two groups and each pursue their tasks, they find themselves challenged with the strengths of their friendships and choices of self-preservation or of saving their friend's life instead. Ultimately they reach their goal, and the truth is revealed ... Author's note: I've written this book, as a sort of biography set in a fantastical realm. It is a description of my mental illness, which is a schizoaffective disorder, and the state of mind the condition puts me in. The way I've chosen to describe this is the best way I can articulate how I feel in certain situations. I describe the period of time I was in University studying Physics & Astronomy, up through to the completion of my MSc in computational astrophysics. I hope you enjoy this book, and hopefully it will help you to understand what people who are mentally ill go through daily, or maybe even help you understand what a loved one with a mental illness suffers.

'𝐋𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐧𝐚' - 𝘢 𝘣𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘦, 𝘢 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵. | | ᥉tartᧉ꯭d ; 11/05/25 [ dd/mm/yy ] | ╰────────────────── •ᯓᡣ𐭩 Isaac Caden moved through life with a quiet emptiness he couldn't quite name, a subtle 𝗹𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗻𝗮 carved into the center of his being. He remembered faces without voices, moments without meaning - like snapshots from a film with the sound turned off. Isaac never let anyone nor himself see what he truly felt; his emotions were locked away behind an unshakable calm, as if revealing them would only make the emptiness inside him more real. People said he was an asshole, distant, always somewhere else, but the truth was simpler: something was missing, a piece of himself that had slipped away long ago. And though he didn't know what it was, he felt its absence in every silence, every unanswered question, every dream he couldn't quite remember when he woke up. Isaac never thought he would understand himself internally, he wasn't even sure that there was anything beneath his shell, he felt hollow - like there was nothing special about his existence. Purely floating through life without meaning. After a long time of trying to read himself, he gave up. He didn't care to understand anymore, he thought there was no reason for him being on this earth - he was then brutally slapped in the face with hard proof that he was wrong. ────୨ৎ──── 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴: This story contains harsh topics and language, if any of the following disturbs you, do not read. Once upon a time... That's how all the fairytales begin, right? There's a girl who's mistreated and misunderstood. She meets a guy--probably the most popular guy in school (and hey, why not make him British while we're at it?). He's most likely very handsome and just as rich, and magically seems to understand her. It feels like they've known each other forever when in fact they've actually just met. It's love at first sight, the guy saves the girl from whatever misery she's in, they meet only two or three problems along the way, and then it's happily ever after. But this isn't a fairytale.
