NOTE: This story can trigger depression or anxiety. Read at your own risk. Remember, I warned you. Why do people disappear from our lives? Because they want to be found. Have you ever felt the urge to be gone from everyone in your life? Social media detox is one. But when even that won't help, you will have this itch to travel somewhere. You would want to be somewhere far, somewhere no one knows you, somewhere no one will find you. Because on that somewhere, you will find yourself... again.

What if life was dependent on a button? Your life specifically....and if someone decided that they didn't like you, they could turn that button off. But only the government had control of those buttons. Had control of lives. Had the control of who lives and who dies? Acid is no exceptions to this way of life. One wrong step, one wrong move, and you are dead. Or as they say, Gone. It's an unsaid rule that you don't say nothing bad about anyone working for the government. Unsaid that you don't try to escape The Town. Unsaid that you don't do anything out of daily life. Unsaid that one person can kill all.
