Alaric Emily and his friends Gael and Nash decide to investigate a threat against the Emily family , who are all well known witches in the community. When leaving his sister Gynis confronts the boys about leaving the village and decides to tag along creating some awkward and hilarious moments .
Along their journey they learn helpful things and some things they would rather not know , with the help of Gynis and her extrovert personality and her ability not to be able to shut her mouth .
Alaric is a lonely bookworm who hopes to find someone to love some day but his appearance is not something most ladies are interested in . Poor Alaric is teased for looking feminine and having a soft spot for all things cute . He thought her would be alone forever but his rival Cassius Harvy doesn't seem to think the same .
Follow these group of mis-fits through their journey to wisdom , being on house arrest and in jail for most of this tale . I guess not every one is perfect Gael .
