Hazel Ryder used to be a person that was always for everyone when they need a listener, given that she is gifted with the ability to read people and is an empath. She could read people by staring into their eyes and even sometimes, by a touch while at the same time transfer emotions into them.

But that was two years ago.

Now she is this cold girl that everyone knows about but is afraid of, resulting in her being called 'witch', 'freak', 'weirdo' and all the names that goes along with it...

But to Cameron's eyes, the new guy who had just moved there to finish his last year in Hillary High, he sees Hazel as a mystery. He is intrigued by her ability but scared at the same time. Until he accidentally grabbed her one day when she dropped something and she saw a vision.
