Peeta noticed her in an instance. A faded, red dress that flowed to her knees; a couple books in one hand and holding her mom's hand in the other. It was practically love at first sight. This is Peeta's POV starting from when they were kids. It shows his journey to the games, and his life after that. Enjoy!

This story is based on the characters, Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark. They both are from the hunger games trilogy, which is a beautifully written series by Suzzane Collins. Katniss is going home after 3 years, waiting for District 12 to be rebuilt. Her mother committed suicide a week after Prim died. Katniss was alone. The only thing that was keeping her alive was Peeta. The urge to feel his soft lips against hers. Just to be in the presence of him. She hasn't seen him since the rebellion, but her plans of loving Peeta will be cut short when she gets home. You have to read the book to find out what happens next.Terminé

"We're here. We're finally here." I say as I drop the bags on the floor and look up at him. He leans forward and carefully puts his lips to mine. I close my eyes and start to feel the butterflies begin to flutter. I pull away and look down at my feet. "Come on Katniss, it's just a little kiss." He says as he gently grabs my waist and pulls me in. I lie my head on his chest and I smile. He places his chin on my head and we stand there in silence taking in each other's embrace. "Peeta.
