Deep in the Canadian forests lies a ruthless and unforgiving wolf pack ruled by a ruthless and unforgiving, murderous Alpha: named Mason Stone.
    
    Alpha Mason Stone only cared about his heir and 7 sons. So he never payed attention to his youngest child and only daughter Katarina Mason.  
    
    Injured severely in a sword fighting lesson with one of her brothers as a young child. Katerina was left with a scar from the top of her forehead all the way down her face, neck and chest on her left side. And another across her throat. The injury not only left her with the scars but also mute and unable to speak. 
    
    When Katarina is 16 a convoy from a fellow colony comes and declares an Alpha challenge from Alpha Mason. 
    
    Katarina must choose between her birth family and the family she so desperately wants for herself.
