Quentin Beck works for the Daily Bugle, but realizes he is close to getting fired if he doesn't come up with a good story. In order to keep his job, he decides to go on a mission to take a perfect picture of Spider-Man himself and becomes obsessed with the hero in the progress. One night, Quentin Beck is lucky enough to see the hero unmask himself -- Only to realize Spider-Man is the handsome intern at his office called Peter Parker. Instead of revealing his identity, Quentin grows more interested in the young man. Maybe a little too interested.

A new duo
Set after endgame. MJ and Ned didn't dust with the rest. QUENTIN BECK/MYSTERIO IS GOOD! TONY IS ACTUALLY ALIVE! Peter is all alone after Tony's death, May was killed in a hit and run and his friends are all older than him now in university/collage. He closes off and becomes more mature, smart and determined. He is more reckless though, not caring if he lives or dies on missions or patrol. One day he meets Quentin Beck, who changes everything. He is a superhero named Mysterio and has elemental powers. They become very close friends, rather like uncle and nephew. Slowly, he begins to close the gap in Peters life and they become New York's favourite duo. Little does the world know, that Anthony Edward Stark/Ironman...is alive. He was in a coma for three months but is now on his feet. The only people who know are: Pepper, Morgan, Happy and Rhodey. Tony hears about the new duo and watches them on TV. He admits they are a great duo but deep down he is jealous. It used to be Ironman and Spider-Man against the world. Peter was one of the only people he let close to him and he was practically his kid but now he is Quentins. Turns out Peter may be more of his kid then he thinks...Peter may or may not be a Stark.Complete

To say Emily was downright floored when she got offered a job in her dream city New York would be an even bigger understatement. She is 24 when she lands a job at the Daily Bugle and starts work as the resident "Superhero Editor." Emily is hesitant about her new boss and colleagues, especially about her partner-in-crime photographer, Peter Parker. She gets suspicious when he gets photos others only dream of getting and when he starts disappearing randomly. Emily becomes increasingly intrigued by Peter Parker so she has to juggle her job and finding out what the hell he is up to.Complete

After stumbling across Mysterio behind the scenes, Beck threatened Phillips's life if he told anyone that he saw the master of illusions. Afraid for his life, Jake's father hires a bodyguard to protect Jake so that he'll be alive to testify against Quentin Beck in his upcoming trial. That bodyguard is Yelena Belova, former Black Widow. Can Yelena successfully protect Jake in time for Beck's trial? And what will happen when Jake develops feelings for the Russian spy? Will Yelena reciprocate his feelings?
