After the events on Exegol- Rey is alone. She is struggling to adapt to life on her own, on Tattooine, and with the Resistance's New Republic. She can't help but feel separate from everyone else. Everyone else gladly accepts that the First Order is destroyed and Kylo Ren is dead- that Ben Solo is dead. A loss that she can't admit to herself she feels. Attempting to bury herself in her work, her spark of hope is ignited when an unbidden vision of Ben Solo appears, forcing her to confront her loss and do something about it.

Where is Ben Solo? First written immediately after Rise of Skywalker. Recently fleshed out #2- reylofanfiction 21.2.2026 #3- ReyxBen 10.12.20 #10- worldbetweenworlds 4.11.21 Written as a sequel to the Rise of Skywalker (the film, not my fanfiction version) and before the release of novelisation or at least here in the UK.
