The last thing he remembered was watching the sun fade behind the ocean and the sky go from blazing orange to a dark and deep blue. When the last bits of day disappeared from the horizon, he'd closed his eyes.
And when he opened them, he choked on the water in his lungs.
Or, in which the Straw Hats face a massive defeat before reaching Raftel and just when Luffy thinks he's about to die, he finds himself drowning instead.
Oh right, he time traveled, too.
