The book tells the story of Will, an eighteen-year old Filipino, who along with his mother immigrated to South Korea in hope for a better life. But, the hope he and his mother hoping for, soon turned into misery. His mother was forced to work for many hours just for Will and her to have a decent meal and pay for Will studies at a University in Seoul. But because of this situation that Will and his mother began to have an estranged relationship. He soon also found that he is often at the middle of pranks and bullying from the universities popular bunch of bullies. Adding for Will to hate every life has to offer. He is determined to end his life. But, for out of nowhere, he will find a strange friendship and relationship from a mysterious girl, Dahyun, who is the daughter of their neighbor.
