Rory Adams, a rebellious 17 year old girl, has had enough of her abusive father. Her life off rebellion, getting into fights and her anger management issues have caused her and her family a lot of problems. But not as many as her father has caused them.
Life is made up of moments. Moments that make you and change you, and dictate your choices. These moments can take seconds or hours. These moments are what define us. And for Rory her moment and her decision set off a chain of events that led her to where she was now.
Camp Green Lake.
Rory is sent to Camp Green Lake, an all-boys juvenille correctional camp, as a "tester" to determine whether they would start to allow girls to join.
But how is a rebellious 17 year old girl supposed to survive in an all-boys camp?
At least she has a group of camp-mates looking out for her. In particular a certain Texan camp-mate, Alan or as he's more commonly known as, Squid.

The scent of the short teen used to have was gone, replaced with the putrid smell of death and rot that covered the whole room and the killer himself. Blood smudged all over the teen and onto the older man as he attempted to escape. He got hungry and tired. He just wanted to eat and then sleep. He was preparing the girl, cutting her body apart and tearing the flesh off the bones, which is why the room was such a mess with her blood. Now, he had the boy in his hands. The hunger overtook him. The sharp pain of large "canine" teeth being plunged into his neck made Cameron scream. It was cut short, his whole body freezing up as the crazy man sunk his large fangs into his neck, ripping a large chunk of the boy's flesh in between his teeth.
