Straight A student, Samara, or Sammi, is blind. It's the first day of 7th grade when she hears Demitri Saunders, her bully from elementary school is attending Highland Middle School. When their history teacher pairs them up for an assignment Sammi has to find the strength to make peace with the past. Will she be able to forgive her bully and start a new, or will her anger be too much and end up failing the assignment?

He lives with his twin brother, who is essentially his polar opposite. Sam secretly hates all of his "friends" except for one. Kizuato Larson is Sam's twin brother. Being kind of a recluse, he's a quiet person who is very distant and removed from his sibling. Ever since the twins' dad left when they were seven, Kizuato has been more reserved and less willing to trust people. He hates people who bully others for things that can't be changed- such as sexual orientation or race- especially after having experienced it himself for being asexual/aromantic.
