In high school, Grayson was your smart, quiet kid who blended into the background, and Julian was the outgoing, popular athlete with light brown eyes and a smile that could kill. As the years passed, they would encounter each other, always just steps away, but not close enough to touch.

As they start their first year at Welland University, Grayson sees it as an opportunity to reinvent himself and start doing the things he never got the chance to back in high school, but a fateful encounter with the next door neighbour sends him right back where he started.
