Once known by a dedicated few as the "Little Giant" of the Blackjacks; the volleyball team that dominated middle and high school nationals, Dakota's path to athletic stardom was abruptly halted by a devastating knee injury in her final year in middle school.
Refusing to let her passion fade, she traded the net for the basketball court, channeling her competitive drive into mastering the hardwood. But just as she starts turning heads with her skills and inching toward a new shot at greatness, her ordinary world collides with the impossible.
Werewolves, vampires, and other beings of myth step out of shadow and into her reality, revealing a hidden realm woven with magic, enchanted weaponry, and age-old secrets. Drawn into this extraordinary world by forces she can't yet explain, Dakota must learn to navigate both her new supernatural life and her pursuit of basketball glory.
