In this book you are in the shoes of Osiris Martine his situations had led up to him being sent to japan around 10 years back, he now currently lives with his mother and helps her with the business she runs all the while attending shujin academy he is not very well known but still has his group of friends he even knows some upperclassmen as well. But enough with this description if you want to find out more than read the book.
