I wrote my first Villanelle when I was in 2nd year College. Thanks to my former professor who encouraged me to continue doing poetry. He was one of my inspirations. I remember when I was in 3rd year High School, I had a poem about love. I tried to find it but I couldn't find it. I've always wanted to write about many things. And I wish my works would be an inspiration to others.

Dearest First Love
Dearest First Love, I never thought I'd always be thinking of you. You were the best thing that ever happened to me. I never run past a day not thinking about you nor regretting about how we end up separated. I have loved you and I still do. But sometimes, my heart just feels like you were never really meant to stay and sometimes it wishes for you to come back. I can never really tell when my heart is certain because now and then it changes its mind and I can only wish that whatever it may feel from time to time, I hope it will end up happy and contented. I know moving on is such a long process and a hard one but I want to try to move on because I want to forget about all the unnecessary emotions I have inside and I also wish I could live a life of happiness and love. Hello Roses! After a three year hiatus, I am finally back! To the readers of The Rose, I apologize for the not updating the story for a long time - really long time. I was busy at work and school, and so I had to postpone updating it. A family member of mine encouraged me to continue writing the story. She was delighted to see the positive comments you guys left, and no one appreciates it more than I do. It truly makes me happy! Now, I promise you that I will keep you updated with fresh chapters every week to keep the story going. I re-read the entire story, and I found out that there are a lot of things to improve(grammar, scenarios, plot), and so I decided to edit the entire story starting from the very beginning(this occupied most of my time). Yes, please feel free to re-read the story from the very beginning because a lot of scenarios were added for your convenience! :) I apologize in advance to the readers for the grammar/spelling/typo mistakes. No excuses, I am obviously not an expert! However, please feel free to message me for the corrections anytime, and I would gladly edit it. Lastly, napansin niyo siguro - bakit parang ang tagal magka-developan nung mga bida? At bakit ang dami nilang dialogues together? Well, that is because I want the lead characters to create a memorable time together. You will figure out what I mean as you read along . And most importantly, I want to highlight how a normal conversation between two people are - that it is not fast paced, and a lot of things really do happen in a day. :) That's it for now! Before We Were Strangers Again
We used to know each other in ways that only our quiet glances and midnight conversations could explain. There was a time when your name felt like home before you become someone I could barely even recognize. The last time we spoke, it wasn't a goodbye. It wasn't even a proper ending. It was just a silence that grew too loud to ignore, and space that stretched too far to cross. I wish I had known back then that it was your quiet way of asking me to just let you go. I could still see your face in passing moments. In the crowded mall we used to go to. In songs that reminds me of you. In strangers who smile like you did. And I wonder.. Do you ever think of me too?
