We have always been destined to rise above our already fascinating sentience; To evolve into something greater than we now are. Change is a fundamental essence of the reality we live in today, an aspect of life that has been here for centuries. A strand in our beautiful nature that we have learned to despise. As the saying goes, 'People are afraid of what they don't understand'. People tend to fight back against change and others embrace it. When the chance of evolution finally reveals itself to us, on what side will we be on? The side that chooses to let it soar the skies, or the side that chooses to use it selfishly?
Humans are magnificent creatures, not because of their awareness of life. But for their capability to unite and divide themselves because they choose to do so.
(This trilogy is dedicated to those oppressed by the violence and suffering that discrimination may bring upon them.)

The whole camp was filling with smoke. I coughed, praying that my lungs would keep working for just a few more minutes. "Eli, which way is west?" Adam's breathing was just as labored from physical exertion, smoke, and panic as mine was. I didn't even process the question. I didn't know. We couldn't see anything through the smoke because the fire was spreading so quickly, and I just realized I'd forgotten my walkie-talkie. "Don't know!" I answered. Adrenaline was the only thing that kept my feet going. I knew we'd come in the East Gate, and if the cells were in the center, then if we kept going straight, we were going to find the gate any second. "Keep straight!" I instructed. I saw his head bob slightly, acknowledging my delayed direction. Then Adam cried out beside me, and I stopped short. I reached for his body involuntarily as he pitched forward, nearly causing him to take me down with him. My left hand was soaking wet from where it had landed on his shoulder. I winced as I tried to steady him, not daring to look at what I knew would be a pool of blood in my hand. ☁ Now that they have a new ally on their side, they're looking to change the United States for good. At some point, they want every camp freed and every teenager home safe. But each new camp brings an endless supply of new challenges. Things are beginning to spin out of control. Finding that island could mean finding the answers to her burning questions, and maybe even answers to questions she didn't know she had. However, not everything is what she thought it would be when she finally finds the island, and her dreams become a harsh reality. Elis turns out to be someone else, and when another man swoops in every time Maxine is in danger, she becomes confused about what love really is. The Advisors, the ten women governing the world, want to assimilate the people of the island, not knowing that those people have an extreme advantage over them.
