Underestimated (MHA x Male Reader)
A MHA x Reader Insert story. You were born with a very unique quirk. A quirk with a lot of mystery. What it lacked in power, it more than made up for in resourcefulness. As a child, this quirk helped you make friends and kept you the center of attention. Unfortunately, people never saw what it was really capable of. So, after reaching junior high, it was viewed as useless. You were told repeatedly that you could never be a Hero. But you're not a quitter. You will prove them wrong. NOTE: Much of this fanfic is written from a first person perspective of the Reader Character. This is for the sake of immersion. You may or may not enjoy that perspective. Thanks. Off The Rails (BNHA x Male OC)
Namura Yuji was a normal 15 year old with a pretty crappy quirk. He's quite the trouble maker; a delinquent at school with questionable marks and friends. He starts running drugs for extra cash and runs into trouble when a group of scientists try to steal his delivery of Trigger (a drug that enhances the users quirk temporarily) off him. They release some sort of monster on him and to get away he injects himself with the drug, enhancing his own quirk. Except it isn't temporary, it sticks around. So now he's got a way better, not crappy quirk. Becoming a teenage vigilante is the logical next step, of course. Meeting Eraserhead was purely an accident and anything past that was just bad luck. (obviously I don't own bnha. I feel like all my stories center around U.A and school life so I wanted to shake things up with a character that doesn't enter U.A at all. I also wanted to work with a quirk that looks pretty unassuming at first.)Terminé

I wondered, why a quirkless bastard like me made it this far. But while I watched the blood trickle down my wrist, I thought, it isn't my fault I was born quirkless. Why should I be the one to suffer? And I decided, if I can't be a hero, I'll be a villain. I'll be a villain that can defeat people with a powerless fist. I'll defeat the people who doubted me. After failing to develop a quirk and missing the mark to get OFA from All Might, Izuku became a vigilante to save the people ignored by heroes and in danger during the night, all under the guise of being a normal highschool student and son during the day. One late night, after working himself to exhaustion, Izuku is found at his breaking point, feverish and alone, by pro-hero, UA teacher, and future father-figure Eraserhead. Will the world be able to look beyond the lack of a quirk and see this boy as a hero? With the help of his new friends in Class-1A and All for One at large, Izuku's quirklessness might be exactly what they need to fix everything. . . . . After a classmate tells Mizuno Jun his quirk is gross, the 15 year old just snaps. Now on the run from the police he happens upon a member of the infamous League of Villains. After a quick 'audition' he's accepted into their ranks. Now a part of the underground, the kids got a lot to learn before he's considered a real villain. There's codes, relationships and more murders than you can shake a stick at, but after years of sitting quietly he's more than ready to experience it all.
